fantastic resort - good value and great staff

the staff were fantastic and made my holiday the food was brilliant - great choices for breakfast lunch and dinner and 3 al a carte restaurants great facilities I will be retuning

no wifi in bedrooms but no big deal as not in rooms for long

Wonderful

Hotel was a little bit old but clean. I like environment and sea. Pool was so good. Thank you for everything. Also reception helped us late check-out.

We want double bed. But there was no double bed in our room.

Great Experience

The location was okay, but you need an Uber or something to go to the city or market area. Meals were nice actually. You can find something to eat almost every time period. We arrived at midnight and they helped us with a very late dinner. Finally, it probably can match your expectations.

Extra bed was not a great idea. It was not that much comfortable at the end was okay.

dinner & lunch are very good , and variable , lunch location is very good and simple by sea view , very nice sunrise view , stuff is very good

children pool is not heated , there is no different type of fish at snorkeling site ,Italian and Asian restaurant is with reservation , which not suitable for short time stay

It was an amazing stay with a comfortable room and delicious food.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in form of the Buffet was delicious with a wide range of different Food an Diets. Always very fresh and hot. The Beach was beautiful with amazingly clear Water, granting the option to view some fish swimming around.

There are 3 à la carte Restaurants on the premises, the Italian and Asian were not the best food (at least for a european standard), I prefered the buffet way more. There is a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, though the alcohol is not really the best on the market.

From Sonesta to Azur, with an acceptable Experience

1- Chapeau for the Middle Management "namely Mr. Ahmed Gamal - Front Office, Mr. Hamdy - F&B, and the Executive Chef" who changed my experience. 2- Food taste was great, not a wide variety, but basics were made extremely tasty. the quality of the ingredients is acceptable. 3- The executive chef was seen by each meal in the restaurant, always present for any problem, special request, or only for supervision and arrangement. 4- the resort is big, with pools, artificial lake, and beach. however, club cars are always around, you can call them to pick up directly from your room to the required destination. which is really nice and rare. 5- Animation team is great, they are very friendly, funny, and caring. however, the night animation show can be more attractive to clients if they got more variety. 6- The rooms by the pool are good, acceptably furnished, and fully equipped with essentials. 7- The indoor pool - accessible at no extra charge - may not be a good idea for those who seek sunlight, but may be good for children and in cold weather as it is heated. 8- The overall hotel facilities are very good, with many activities all over the day. 9- Excellent Value for Money.

1- The hotel is somehow old, depreciated at some points, however, the new management of Azur is supposed to renovate these areas soon. 2- Hotel rooms with garden view are awful, do not even try it. it is located outside the hotel itself, you will feel like you are a worker their not a guest. 3- Despite of appreciating the middle management, the hotel is having lots of staff that are not well trained to deal directly with customers. 4- Having only the indoor pool to be heated is not a good idea at all.

Awesome trip

It was a very great choice to be there , best service ever , very talented , helpful and kindly staff Food was very well but the best thing in the hotel was the Asian , Italian and oriental chef One of the excellent chefs in all world and i mean that i say he is very clever and talented in chineese and Italian food Also the mentioned restaurants staff and waiters were very very friendly with their attractive smile specially Sameh Ahmed Many thnx pharaoh Azur and of course i will come back shortly isA Room 531 Tarek Ayad

the whole experience was good, the animation team were very friendly and resourceful, shows were good, the food was average (good variety, not as good taste), the hotel amenities were good and plenty of activities to be done

the food was not the best regarding the taste, my room was very far from everything and it wasnt clean on check in, the prices were a bit high compared to the quality, the snacks was of low quality the rest was excellent

I've been in Egypt 4 times.

I've been in Egypt 4 times. Twice in Pharaoh Azur Resort. I've returned there because they all are so friendly and helpful. Almost like a family. It's a great place to stay with your family and little children. Hotel is very safe and the guard at the gate really do their job as well as the guard on the beach. Animation team is just amazing. They do Kids disco even if there's only one child. Highly recommend the barmen. They know how to make a good cocktail. Restaurant personnel and service is outstanding. They offer you a drink just like that and don't expect anything in return. They've got three al'a carte restaurants and you must try Italian and Asian. Of course it's free, just need to book your place at the reception. If you need to rejuvenate, don't forget about their Horas SPA and the indoor swimming pool. Very helpful and skillful personnel will help you. On the beach you'll find a friendly beach bar with delicious pizza. On the far right hand side is placed a Diving Centre from Dive More Group. Believe me, whatever language you speak, the guy called Jamaica will communicate with you. It is rather quiet hotel so don't expect many drink mates. As I've written earlier it is a perfect place for a family stay. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again.

Noisy Chinese guests, who don't respect anything. Sorry for my statement but it's utterly honest. I had few times to quiet them as I couldn't gatter my thoughts.

I liked really the stuff ofcourse not all of them but most of them were so friendly,i liked the beach and everything was clean

I didn't like the food and drinks and also i didn't like that water of the pool was cold and i complain for that but they didn't open the heater for the swimming of the pools and most of the kids were screaming because of the cold waterand also i didn't like that the offers the snack meals only in the beach restaurant but they didn't offer it in the pool reataurant and also that they charge you for the drinks and the food you order after 12am.

- Reception manager upgraded our rooms for free - Beach & pool - Breakfast - Italian restaurant - Room Service

- Small rooms - Small beds - Lunch & Dinner is not a 5 stars hotel. - Animation team - Recreation team - Most of the staff are rude and speak to guests in inappropriate way. - The service you get here are not comparable to any Azur hotel as i have been to most of them and they all have the best staff with the best service but for Pharaoh Azur it is not even close to that.

Very nice quiet hotel, good for family vacation. Nice aquapark for small kids. Very green hotel

I had vacation with two kids 1 and 3 years. All staff was very friendly, helfull and tolerant. They give us very big comfortable room without any extra money. Restaurant accept to take food away to room fruits or normal food or drinks.

No animation for kids. And cleaning room was not so good. They change all beds and towels every day but never clean floor in room and balcony
